Architectural Visualisation of a Retail Interior

Architectural Visualisation of a Retail Clothing Shop Interior

We were commissioned to produce this set of visualisations for a clothing retailer here in the UK.  They were in the process of updating their brand and wanted to emphasize a clean crisp looks.  They provided us with a complete set of finishes they had chosen along with 2D CAD Plans of a proposed shop space, including their racking. We used this information to create an accurate 3D model of how the proposal would look.

We ended up using a mix of off the shelf clothing 3D assets as well as creating our own, including the manequinn.  Creating 3D clothing was challenging but we learned a lot during the process and are keen to do another clothing store!.

Architectural Visualisation: Residential Development in Buckinghamshire, UK

We were recently commissioned to provide a set of Architectural Visualisations for a Local Authority Planning Committee meeting.  The purpose of these images was to show the proposal to the public and to assist in a planning application process.

Kitchen Design Visualisation June

Kitchen Design Visualisation

A quick space planning kitchen design visualisation we prepared recently.  We were able to use a large number of digital assets from our library to ‘kit bash’ a kitchen to create this interior design visualisation.

Architectural Visualisation: New Build Apartment Complex

We were recently commissioned to provide a set of 4no images of an up an coming apartment complex in Frinton on sea, essex.  Using a client supplied BIM model and a set of building finishes we researched the surrounding environment to create this set of street & back garden images.

New Build House in Kent, UK

We were recently commissioned to provide a set of conceptual & fully realised 3D renders of a new build house property in Kent.  The client wanted to be able to visualise the house before building and confirm the design choices he made looked like he expected.

We took photographs of the existing property and aerial data as well as land relief data and set out to re-create the existing landscape in 3D.  The house is on a steep slope that flattens around the property so we were able to re-create this as a full fledged virtual environment.

These visuals helped the Client to arrive at no less than 2 late design changes & avoided purchases, which we are sure out weigh the cost to produce these visuals – turning out to be a net cost gain to our Client.

New Build Housing Development Close Up

New Build Houses, Cambridge outskirts

We were lucky enough to get on board with a local residential property developer and take Architects’ manually drawn paper drawings through our 3D Modeling and Architectural Visualisation pipeline to produce this virtual model and set of proposed street scenes for the Client.  This has already proved invaluable as straight away the Client was able to change the windows after using our visual to determine that the ones previously picked didn’t quite fit with the way this building played out in the environmental context.  We were able to rapidly iterate on the model to produce visual options and this is the result. It’s real world benefits like that add value to what we do and our ultimate goal is to provide a net negative cost to construction projects when compared with a non 3D approach.

Proposed Commercial Square in Cambridge, UK

Darwin Green One, a proposed Cambridge city growth site.

We were commissioned to assist the Landscape Architects through a planning process by providing a set of 3D visualisation renders of their commercial square proposal for the Darwin Green One Cambridge city growth development.  This was an exciting project although we were given a tight deadline so didn’t get a chance to iterate on our final render as much as we had hoped.  We also had to make a few compromises to the surrounding proposed buildings but we feel the overall context was still communicated,  which was our design goal.

Residential Housing Development in Cambridgeshire, UK

Image showing a virtual aerial photograph of a proposed housing development.

One of the benefits of creating a virtual 3D housing model is the ability to be able to move the camera into difficult positions like this aerial shot.

We were recently commissioned to create a set of 3D Architectural Visualisations for a 44 dwelling residential housing development in Cambridgeshire, England. We took a trip to site and took photographs of the proposal area and used these to create a virtual representation of the environment complete with matching tree & foliage species. In the interests of attention to detail and realism we also created a set of bespoke HDRI images to use for our image based lighting setup as the weather was nice upon our arrival.
Using supplied 2D CAD plans and basic elevations we set out to meticulously model each building unit. Unlike other visualisation studios we work on a full 3D site model because it gives our clients the opportunity to go back in to make changes- change viewing angles and highlight key areas later on in the design process. Its easy to work on one still image and achieve photo realism- much harder to create a fully holistic environment which can be animated & explored- our workflow straddles the two nicely- at least we think so anyway!
